Relatable - He Asked What’s for Dinner. I Experienced a Personality Shift.

Menopause doesn’t just turn up with a fan and a smile. It kicks down the door, rearranges your brain, and suddenly your husband’s afraid to ask what’s for dinner.......And honestly?

Good.

Because somewhere between the hot flushes and the emotional whiplash, something else shows up too—

Clarity.

The kind that makes you realise you’ve been quietly running the entire operation for years.

Meals.

Mental load.

Emotional logistics.

Remembering things no one else even notices need remembering.

And now?

Now your nervous system’s fried, your patience is gone, and the idea of being the household manager on top of everything else feels… absolutely ridiculous.

So no—he shouldn’t be casually asking what’s for dinner like it’s your sole responsibility.

Not anymore.

Because menopause isn’t just a hormonal shift.

It’s a role audit.

And some of those roles?

Yeah… they’re getting made redundant.

Love from Missy Moo 🖤
